Rabbit!

I love to chase rabbits. We have lots of bunnies around our house, and they like to run across my back yard. I run and run and run but they are faster. Except for a few days ago! One ran across the back of the yard, and I tried really hard to get to it. It tried to go under the fence instead of between the posts, and it got stuck……….. so I caught it! I pulled it back out from underneath the fence, and I shook it and squeezed it. It made noises, and my humans sounded unhappy. I ran back to my humans, happy with my new toy. My dad told me to drop it, so I did. They wouldn’t let me near it again, but I wanted to play with it some more. They made me go in the house instead. When they let me back outside later, it was all gone. I sniffed and sniffed where I dropped it, but the trail just disappeared.
